The Main Journey: Al Khobar to Doha

I reset the odometer at a fuel station before Buhsmura, with both the battery charge and fuel tank not completely full. Drove straight to Al Khobar's hotel, then the next morning at 11 AM I started my errands. After finishing, I drove back to Qatar and completed my tasks, then headed home.

At 130 km/h, consumption is more than double compared to 80 km/h

The Official Range Test

The next day, I decided to drive until I'd completely use the fuel. I took Salwa Road, then Al Mutaa, then Al Nasr district, then Lusail, then Al Khour, and finally headed back home. When I saw 102 km remaining, I decided to finish the fuel right then. I went to Buhsmura and refueled at the station there.

Final result: 915 km achieved, with an average speed between 100–110 km/h most of the time.

The Generator Mistake That Cost 70 km

I made a mistake and turned on the generator while the car was parked, which wasted about 70 km of range with the engine off. Someone later told me not to do that since the car consumes fuel even when stationary. If I hadn't made that mistake, I would've easily done 1000 km.

Speed Impact Test: The Real Numbers

After refueling, I decided to test how different speeds affect power consumption. I tested from 80 km/h up to 130 km/h on the same route.

The results speak for themselves: at 130 km/h, you get half the range compared to 80 km/h. More specifically — at 100 km/h, I consumed 90% of the expected range (the stated range was 1016 km, and I did 915). If I'd maintained 80 km/h, I could've achieved the advertised range.

At 130 km/h, consumption is more than double compared to 80 km/h.
